The Grade 4 Camp
Two weeks ago we were on camp. We first went to Giraffe House we saw goats, lamas, zebras, flamingos, birds, tortoises, snakes, spiders, monkeys, crocodiles, ostriches, giraffes and lots more animals We fed all the animals and had ice lollies and then we got on the bus and drove off to Simonsberg.
When we got to Simonsberg we got told who was in rooms. I was with Kyan, Kian O. Kian D. Daniel, Alon and I. then we unpacked and played STOP stop. Then we swam and played in the forest after we were finished playing we had dinner and got ready for the night hike. When we got back from the night hike we got ready for bed and went to sleep.
The next morning we woke up and went to play in the forest but unfortunately some Kids got stung by wasps because somebody stepped on a wasp nest. After we were finished the wasp accident we had breakfast and then went outside and got divided in our groups and started with the activity's. The group I was in started at the zip-line and felt what it feels like to be blind and then we moved to the obstacle course and the last activity we did for the day was the Aladdin hops where we learned to work together. Then we swam and got ready for dinner. After dinner we did Elkanahs got talent by the bond fire. In my group for Elkanahs got talent was Christopher Kian O. Kian D. Lorenzo and I. Our song was about Sticky Joe. When we were finished with Elkanahs got talent we went to bed.
The next morning we packed and took our bags to the front by a wall and then we went to the activity that we hadn't done. My group was doing the mud swing where we had to grab a rope with shoe laces tied together and on the end we put a shoe and through it around the rope and swung across the mud pit. Then we had lunch and waited for the bus to come and pick us up. When the bus came we got on and went back to school where our parents were waiting for us and we went home with our parents.
